S/W {Sales / Derby Works} C7/C28.7.31. We have sold chassis No. 65-GX, Continental type chassis to Mr. C.Cochrane. Mr.Cochrane is a fast driver and will be taking the car on the Continent immediately he returns from Scotland, where he is going for a few days on Wednesday, August 5th. Last year he had perpetual boiling trouble with his Phantom II and we recently did certain work to the car to prevent a recurrence. We want to be certain that everything is done on this new car to ensure that he does not get this trouble. Will you please, therefore, arrange to supply a radiator with the dented tubes and the water restriction, and if there are any other points in connection with the cooling system that you suggest should be done, kindly let us know. Presumably you will not be able to send off the necessary parts before the August holiday, in view of the Works being closed. If you cannot do so then we must arrange to change the radiator before he goes abroad, after his short visit to Scotland. C. | ||
