RM{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/MHR{M. H. Rigby}/1/RH{R. Hollingworth} Dear Sirs, We thank you for your letter of 4th inst. In normal times we could easily have executed all the assemblies in question, but under War conditions our Machine Plant is so heavily overloaded by A.1. Priority work for all three fighting services that we are no longer able to undertake special pieces. If you could arrange to supply parts R.G.2462, 2463, 2464, 2471 and 2453 to us we will undertake the remainder and assemble to drawing R.G.2458. This is the best we can do to help and we trust this course of action will be satisfactory to you. We return herewith the drawings of the parts we are unable to supply, and await your further advice. We are, Yours faithfully, For and on behalf of BOWDEN (ENGINEERS) LTD. [Signature] DIRECTOR, GENERAL ENG. MANAGER. ENC:- Drgs. RG.{Mr Rowledge}2462 -2463 -2464 2471 -2453 | ||
