Re Tests on SU Battery (176)
This battery was given a low rate discharge through a constant external resistance of 1.80w & only gave 37.8 ampere hours.
The Oldham cells shewed positive weakness.
After a full charge the battery was given a high rate discharge through a constant external resistance of .100w.
Initial amperes = 100
Time to 90 " = 5.1 min
" " 80 " = 7.0 "
Both of these results are very poor & are due to the Oldham cells having such a poor capacity.
