Messrs. Rolls, Royce, Ltd.,
DERBY.

Attention: Mr. W. A.{Mr Adams} Robotham.

Dear Sirs,

We have for acknowledgment your favour of September 29th, and have noted with interest your remarks.

We, however, would point out that several Rolls owners have approached us in the matter of supplying them with front-wheel brakes for their cars. This, of course, has reference to Rolls cars which were built prior to Rolls fitting four-wheel brakes as standard equipment.

We are advised that certain companies are making a point of fitting front-wheel brakes to these cars at a price of £80 to £90 per set, and the Rolls owners are paying this very gladly, as they find it very difficult to handle a big car fitted with rear wheel brakes only with the present-day conjested condition of our highways.

We are not interested to supply our brakes, or fit them to these cars unless they are done through the Rolls Royce Company, and when we wrote you in regard to brakes, this was what was in our minds, that is, that possibly we might work together in a conversion of these early chasiss and if you will give this matter your consideration and favour us with a reply, we shall appreciate it very much.

Yours very truly,

BENDIX-PERROT BRAKES, LTD.
