Messrs. Rolls Royce Limited,
DERBY.

For the attention of Mr. Steadman

Dear Sirs,

We are in receipt of your letter of the 20th inst., confirming the details of our discussion regarding Oil Coolers. By now you will have received our letter of the 20th inst., which generally deals with the matters discussed in your letter. As soon as all the operations for improved construction of the Cooler become effective the writer will inform you so that deliveries from that date can be carefully checked.

The composition of the solder used by the Harrison people is pure tin. We do not feel that any advantage would be obtained from using this, as we are using a high grade solder which we consider to be satisfactory under your running conditions. We will, however, bear this in mind.

The question of guaranteed Radiator Matrices weights is receiving Mr. Coltman's attention at the moment and this should be cleared before the end of next week.

We would not care to give a delivery date for the two special Mark VI Matrices at the moment as we are urging special material from our suppliers. Upon receipt of this material we can give you a firm delivery promise. In any case we think 10/14 days is an approximate delivery date.

We were very pleased to have you visit us this week and feel that personal contact is of great assistance in clearing matters such as those referred to above.

Yours faithfully,
JOHN MARSTON LIMITED,

A.W. Dunn.
MANAGER.
