YOUR REF:

Messrs. Rolls Royce Ltd.,
Chassis Electrical Laboratory,
DERBY.

For the attention of R.{Sir Henry Royce} M.{Mr Moon / Mr Moore} Child, Esq.

Dear Sirs,

We beg to confirm the recent vist by the Superintendent of our Electrical Department, and his conversation with a member of your staff with regard to electrical equipment.

As explained, we would welcome an opportunity of quoting you for Dynamos, Starters, etc., of M.C.L. design, which are available for any voltage between 6 and 32, and for any Switchgear that you may require. We believe that at the present time you manufacture such requirements but we think you may be interested in finding someone with manufacturing facilities such as we have for producing equipment either embodying your ideas or entirely to your own design.

We shall be only too pleased to place ourselves entirely at your disposal in this respect and trust that you will realize that we are well equiped for handling such a proposition as yours, as we have, since the inception of our Company, devoted our activities to producing a high grade equipment, individually built by trained personel, and rigorously tested, rather than attempting to capture the mass-production market.
