-2- RML2/R.29.12.37. (5) There are various rattles, notably the partition window when raised. (6) There not being any form of no draught ventilation on the car, it is quite impossible to avoid the choice of a stiff neck or asphyxiation. (7) The rear boot has no virtues. It will not take two reasonably sized suitcases one one top of the other, because it tapers too rapidly in its height. It will not take a bag of golf clubs; for some reason, the Coachbuilders fill in the sides of the boot, for which we apparently pay, and then we pay Sanderson & Holmes for taking the partitions away. (8) It is difficult to believe that the rear wheel arches could ever have been designed round a sensible design of wheel. (9) The lock on the boot is such that it has to be slammed with immense violence to shut it. (10) We were unable to find any switch for the instrument patch light. (11) There is no cigarette lighter. (12) The heater switched either all or nothing. We should like your comments on these observations before we take the matter up with Ev.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} We understand that the windscreen leaked originally, and should like to know if it is all right now. We have been suffering from leaking windscreens long enough. Em. | ||
