Incorrect obsolete inlet valve springs being fitted to a high power cylinder head.

As a result of complaints of inlet valve bounce on the above cylinder head we checked over the valve springs and found that the original inlet valve springs which are now obsolete had been fitted. The correct inlet springs and fittings are those shown on LeC.4185 and fitted originally on 21.12.34, to your specification RHC{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer}/WSC.{W. S. Cassel}25/EP.{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer}27.12.34. Will you please make up a set of these springs together with spares as soon as possible, and also check that the correct exhaust valve springs are fitted. E/PSN. | ||
