MINCHIN T.W. PRITCHETT. YOUR REF. _______ OUR REF. M/5. 1st October 1925. Messrs. Rolls Royce Ltd., DERBY. For the attention of Mr. Fowler Clark. Dear Sirs, We thank you for yours of the 30th ult. re P. & R.{Sir Henry Royce} "RR.11" battery returned. The two cells referred to have not yet come to hand but we presume they will any day now and we will write you after examining them. We note that their performance in the lab. is approximately equal to the performance on the car and as the car did 28,000 miles in three months can we assume that the nine or ten months' use in your lab. was equivalent to 84,000 miles and therefore this battery may be considered to have done 112,000 miles, or is there some fallacy in these figures somewhere? Yours faithfully, PETO & RADFORD. G.R.N. Minchin | ||
