Coverley - Production Engineer} PHANTOM 111 - STARTER MOTOR. We should have a sufficient number of this modified starter to have them fitted to all experimental chassis,in order to get as wide an experience with them as possible in a short space of time. There is apparently no debit to the main torque by the changes made, the increased Teazer torque with its resultant effect on the engaging parts is the factor which requires consideration from the point of view of intensive testing, and this can only be thoroughly covered by having as many cars as possible fitted in addition to bench tests.
