EFC. has found a fan which promises to be better than our standard - i.e. with a bigger push at the air for less HP., therefore easier to drive, and belt drive more reliable. I should like this tested on the road against the standard fan to see if it gives any hope of lower temperature.

I have a suspicion that our shuttered bonnets are not opened when needed and we get a bad name because they can be closed, whereas others like Hispano, with louvres which are always open, do not so suffer. Also a long line of louvres are better than shutters. We must not trust to shutting up our engine for silence.

In 'V' series we have also advantages of less heat to the water per HP., and slightly larger front face, which we again increase at 'W' series.
