We should be glad if you could supply some information as regards the extent to which silencers used on our cars become choked up, and also the measures you have to take, if any, for cleaning them out. So far as we can see it is not possible to clean the greater part of our standard silencer by mechanical scraping, and it is with a view to determining how FOR ACCESSIBILITY this can be dispensed with on future work that the above query is raised.
