Bentley Demonstration Saloon. We understand that you are desirous of the opportunity of examining the pistons of the demonstration cars when they have reached a mileage in the neighbourhood of 5,000 miles. As the mileage of the above car will shortly have reached 5,000 and as we still have a number of demonstration runs in hand, we are proposing to arrange for the car to be sent to you after it has given a run in Norfolk on Saturday 11th November. We also understand from Bn.{W.O. Bentley / Mr Barrington} that the clutch requires attention on this particular car and that we should reserve the car for you for at least three days. Could we, therefore, arrange to collect the car from you on Wednesday evening, 15th instant? Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} authorises this work. Bly{B. W. Bleaney - Bentley Sales} | ||
