Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/FJH.{Fred J. Hardy - Chief Dev. Engineer}19/KW.17.9.34:

If you have any criticism of our
proposals we should be very glad if you would let
us know!

For the purpose of attaching an R.R.
column we shall require not less than 18" of inner
and outer column on the Marles box, and the pendulum
shaft should be of the long length, i.e., 6 3/4" from
axis of column to top end of pendulum lever.

Will you please send us a further print
of the L.7 R.H. steering column.

Thanking you in anticipation, we remain,

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED.
