X4268 X5310 We have now completed 62 1/2 hrs. on the bumping rig with an India front axle complete with steering levers and pivots with increasedradius. The frame on the bumping chassis has now broken. There are no signs of cracks starting on the pivots. We are arranging a joggling test to test pivots because the failure of road springs and other chassis parts make it a long time before any comparison can be got on pivots. The present standard pivots on the 20 HP. we have had them fail through the bolt hole in the flange where the cross steering lever is fixed. MADE ACTION Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} | ||
