X346 Exptl. Dept. HB{C. E. Harcombe}/Les.21/KW. 6th August, 1935. Messrs. Newton & Nicholson Ltd., Tyre Dock Corrugated Packing Co.Ltd., SOUTH SHIELDS. Dear Sirs, We are wanting urgently some of your corru-joint packings to replace our present paper joints G.81618/9. These have to retain oil at 15 lbs/sq.in. on the large central diameter. No corrugation is required for the small holes. We imagine that very thin material would be satisfactory, but would like to produce 6 of each type as quickly as possible, made to a thickness of material which you recommend. Yours faithfully, FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED. | ||
