The Munro links which E {Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} /Psn brought back from America have much greater flexibility than any silent-block bush that we have tried. If the bumper tests now commencing are satisfactory, we think that a similar type of bearing should be used for the roll rod itself. Graph 860819 shows that practically no deterioration takes place to the stiffness of the Ph.III production rear roll rod having silent-bloc bushes E.2174 after 10,000 miles in France. Samples 'A' and 'B' were fitted to 32-EX for its last trip to France. | ||
