Route, condition, etc; involuntary stops; adjustments; work done; remarks on running, etc. Testing at Derby; Derby, Leicester, Daventry, St.{Capt. P. R. Strong} Albans, London. Roads good, some floods. Some rain. Petrol consumption improved. Engine, gearbox, etc. oil all drained and renewed. Steering stiffens up after running worse than formerly. Tappets rattle at medium and high speeds. No servo groan. Brakes require very heavy pressure and are not very effective (new linings) but are improving decidedly with running.
