(5) WATFORD MAGNETOS.

EP.{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer} reported that two changes had been brought forward by the Watford Magneto people, which have greatly improved these magnetos; one being the Brush for the make and break which used to be of copper is now of carbon, and the second being the internal aluminium Plate which used to come adrift has now been tackled and gives no trouble.

(6) RUBBER CONNECTIONS.

Letter received from CJ. asking Mr.Whitehead to make arrangements for a meeting with Gen.Bagnall Wild. Mr.Whitehead is writing Gen.Bagnall Wild today.

(7) ELECTRICAL TRAINING.

Hm.{Capt. W. Hallam - Head Repairs} reported that he had seen Mr.Clarke with a view to getting a party of men trained. Mr.Clarke said he was too busy and so was all his department, but that hewould train one man for Capt.Hallam.
