Dear Sirs,

For the attention of Mr. Bond.

We thank you for your letter of the 13th.inst., containing information re. power consumption of the 7" Silent Tread Fort Tyre, for 21" rims.

We may be mistaken, but we feel that this tyre is not our st andard 6.75" tyre for 21" rim which we mentioned in our letter of the 13th., because this is not a "Fort" tyre. On the other hand, we believe you do not make a "Fort" tyre of the larger size.

Will you please confirm exactly which tyre it is upon which these tests have been carried out.

We regret to know that you are unable to make tests with reference to the power consumptions of tyres transmitting power, as this, of course, is the condition under which 50% of the tyres that you supply are always working. However, we thank you for the trouble that you have taken in furnishing us with the information already supplied.

Yours faithfully,

For Rolls-Royce Ltd.
