RUBBER ENGINE MOUNTING BLOCKS.

Dear Sir,

We have your letter of February 7th. and have put experiments in hand to produce rubber compounds suitable for the new type buffer. As the specification for the size and shape of the blocks with the half-inch hole in the centre is not very definite, I propose to send you a sample block at the end of this week made in the mould which we originally designed for your 20 H.P. engine blocks in the early part of last year, and I should like to have your comments on the suitability of this mould at your early convenience as it will take us some considerable time to produce another, should this not be suitable. Meanwhile, we shall continue investigations to find the most suitable mix for the purpose.

The blocks to the old drawing No.F80057 for the standard 40-50 engine foot will be available at the end of the week.

Yours faithfully,
FOR THE DUNLOP RUBBER CO. LTD.,
