RE. DUNLOP JACKS. X391
Y4174

We have no complaint to make against Michelin Jacks.
We have used them for years - they are very compact and easy to operate so therefore we consider it would be a mistake to depart from them on any slight question of costs.
If an English maker would take a Michelin Jack and copy it in detail, this might overcome the difficulty of obtaining supplies of Michelin Jacks.
The Dunlop Jacks are not good enough.
On the 40/50 HP. car we want a range on the jack from 8" to 16" - we cannot get this with any of the Dunlop Jacks.
As regards the 20 HP. we want a range from 7½" to 12½", - we cannot get this on the Dunlop Jack. There is one which has a range from 7" to 12½".
The fact that the Dunlop Jacks have no extension adjustment, is a disadvantage, also they are harder to work, are not so compact and the handle is not so convenient.
