RE DUNLOP JACK.

With reference to Dunlop Jack which you have requested should be reduced in height by .500".

This was done by milling the base and reducing the length of Lifting Screws. On examination we found in the top thrust 6 broken balls. These balls are .125" dia. and are much too small to take the load.

We suggest that thrust balls should not be less than .250 dia. which will necessitate certain alterations to design.
