We wish to carry out further experiments on direct braking to all four wheels. Will you please put in hand :- (1) Strengthened torsion shaft in front axle, N.Sch.4009. (2) Stiffer brake pedal, N.Sch.4011. (3) Front spring shackles, EX.13596. (4) A set of brass rivets with head increased so as to rub against the brake drum. These will be fitted with steel shoes. (5) The servo to N. Sch's 3971 and 3928 can be used off 21-C-IV with the cam angle altered from 50° to 40°. (6) The brake levers should be to N.Sch.3879 except that those to the front ropes should be 2.7 centres and the going away boss in the rear equaliser 2.150 centres.
