COPY. Y8080. To Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} From Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} re. 25 HP. Japan. Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}26/21.9.30. X.5770. X.5360. X.5420. X.5080. X.5000. X.986. I have just seen R1/M20.8.30. Would you kindly send me a copy of your reply in regard to the point R.{Sir Henry Royce} raises about brakes and the Instruction Book. Do you know what he means by Mr. Minchin's temporary failure due to brake application?. Would you also please let me know what action you propose taking in regards to R's suggestion and recommendation about crankchamber and modification to the Indicator. I presume that no change would be made without satisfying ourselves by actual tests that an extra half a gallon would do no harm on the steepest hill. Doubtless this could be tried by inclining the engine or chassis at the necessary angle without actually making tests on a hill. Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} | ||
