Dear Mr. Barclay,

You will remember asking me to give you some idea of Bentley body weights. We have a drop head coupe, the weight of which is as follows :-

CWT. QRS. LBS.

Body complete with floorboards,
spare wheel, cover, mats etc... 6. 3. 9.
Running boards and wings....... 3. 7.
Head, side, and tail lamps...... 0. 17.

Total. 7. 3. 5.

The flared wings fitted to this car are not very sightly or good for windage, the normal domed wings are considerably heavier, therefore, if you have domed wings with stone guards, you can expect them to weigh at least 28 lbs. more than these flared wings.
