TO RHC{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} C. EFC. C. EF/HJR x7625 BY/RD1/ML10.2.27. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} RECEIVED 10 XII I 1927 E.A.C.Vl{V. Lewis / Mr Valentine}1 - SEQUENCE STARTER. In order to get the new (sliding armature) starter motor working on a chassis as soon as possible, it is intended to use the automatic switch and push button switch that are now fitted to the chassis and remove the motor, actuator box and main circuit switch. The wiring can be adopted to this arrangement quite simply as we now have 3 terminals on the motor instead of 2 on the motor and 1 on the main circuit switch, and the two cables that were for the actuator can be joined together and taped up temporarily for this one chassis. We attach herewith print of F.76625 shewing what we propose. BY/RD. | ||
