To prevent splashing of petrol on to wing. Experimental Test Report. The non-spiller filler spout has been fitted to 18.G.IV. and 22-EX with very good results. Road Test Report. Fitted to 18.G.IV. and ran 15,000 miles in France. There were no signs of petrol splashes on the wings with tank fuel. [Faint Watermark: PHANTOM II 20/25 H.P CHASSIS] Top Right Box: X No. 7460.
