P.III PETROL CONSUMPTION.

Sometime ago we pointed out that we were
working to improve the P.III petrol consumption.

The following figures which are obtained from
average results show the progress that has been made:-

Average Speed. Consumption.

Present standard P.III. 45 m.p.h. 11 m.p.g.

Present standard P.III
with new carburetter
setting ............ " 11 1/2 "

Present standard P.III
with new carburetter
setting & overdrive... " 13 1/2 "

The figures on the 15,000 miles test are some-
what misleading from a consumption point of view.
