Re X.3 RECEIVED
Will you kindly place an order with the Lucas Company ordering 12 of their small type aero engine motors, type A.650 without reduction gear, which will be fitted up with armature shafts, as per dimensions given on blueprint herewith E.16800.
Will you kindly point out to Messrs. Lucas that if they cannot produce the shafts to the accuracy required, that if they will complete the shaft drawing by adding their dimensions, we can make the shafts for them here and supply them to them in order that they might build up the armatures on same.
The motors are required without end plates.
BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer}
