COPY. 1879 The slurring test should be useful for testing the bracket for the front end of the rear spring. If it will stand the test as it is we shall be quite O.K. with the base spread and large washers and other reinforcement for the part of the frame carrying the stress. I understand that we are not making cars with the long propeller shaft and the improved position of the Cross Member behind the gear box, and the less overhand of the universal joint until after this has been tested.
