We are being asked by Messrs.Park Ward & Co. to tell them immediately our finishing instructions for the above car, which is an enclosed limousine. We have here an all-black limousine and two black and fawn limousines. We would like to choose a colour which would differentiate between the cars and at the same time do not wish to use green in the colour scheme. After consultation with Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Gry.{Shadwell Grylls} we have thought of suggesting a black top and wings with a dark maroon panel and bonnet, but we should be glad to receive any suggestions from Sales, as we wish this car to represent the Company's latest ideas for a limousine colour scheme. As it is desired that this car should be essentially owner driven we would like the upholstery of the front compartment and the rear compartment to be the same, and prefer a soft leather to West of England cloth, although we are aware that the latter gives the softest seat. With our suggestion for a maroon and black exterior finish we would like to suggest brown hide for both the front and rear seats, but here again we would like to have your suggestions. As this matter is urgent we would be glad if you could let us have a reply as soon as possible. Ev.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} | ||
