361 Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}13/MH.{M. Huckerby} 10th. October, 1939. Colonel W.A.Bristow, Coalite Works, Bolsover, Nr. CHESTERFIELD. Dear Colonel Bristow, Mr. Hives has asked me to answer your letter of the 8th. October. There is no doubt that the drop in oil pressure is due to the greater fluidity of the Arctic oil. For extended high speed running on the Continent under conditions of extreme temperature we consider that Arctic is rather too thin, but for all normal conditions in this country you should have no trouble with it all. As it has put your plug trouble right we recommend that you carry on with it. Yours sincerely, | ||
