To BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} from E/JNR.{Charles L. Jenner} c. Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} re 'SpectreCodename for Phantom III'. X4694 354 E/JNR.{Charles L. Jenner}1/HP.24.1.34. We send you herewith drawings: LeC.3760 - Valve Lift Calculations. 3750 - Automatic Adjusting Tappets and Rocker Cover. This drawing deals with the rockers, rocker shaft, pedestals, tappets and cover. Although the drawing shows 6.5 to 1 compression ratio this does not affect the scheme in any way, and the first engine will be built with 6.1 compression ratio. As soon as possible we should like one plunger made up for us to try and inspect. E/JNR{Charles L. Jenner} | ||
