TEST OF OILING MODIFICATION "We have now completed the 50 hours running of the above and it is pleasing to note that at the end of this period with the engine tilted at an angle of 35° there has been no increase in the amount of leak. "With an oil temperature of approximately 75°C.G. with the engine running there is no leak. "With the engine stopped the leakage is at the rate of 50 drops per minute. We expect to complete the 100 hour test on Thursday afternoon the 7th inst. The final running and "tilting of the engine is being observed by Major Howard of Woolwich Arsenal.
