EXPERIMENTAL CARS.

CJ3/E24.3.26.

On April the 11th, we shall have in France the 20 HP. car which has been to Le CanadelHenry Royce's French residence, and is now on its way back to Paris. This car is being met in Paris and will be taken to Chateauroux for a 10,000 miles test.

We shall have the usual squad of men at Chateauroux so that the 10,000 miles test car can run 500/ miles per day, working two shifts of drivers. We expect the test to be completed about April 20th.

We expect to be taking EAC.8. (Phantom) down to Le CanadelHenry Royce's French residence. It is proposed that DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} and myself should go with this car. The most important features on the car will be - cast dashboard to give a more rigid steering support, and hydraulic dampers both front and rear. We expect this car will cross over somewhere about the 7th. or 8th. April. After it has been to Le CanadelHenry Royce's French residence, if R.{Sir Henry Royce} agrees, it will start on a 10,000 miles test.

There is also 11-EX car (Sales 10,000 miles test car) which is at present running in France. CWB. will be able to let you know what programme has been arranged for that car.
