Rolls Royce Ltd. 5th June 1928. -2- We would esteem it a great favour if you would permit us to carry this out on the bench and if results at that stage warrant it, possibly a short confirmatory road test might also be arranged. We beg again to assure you that we are prepared to go to any constructional lengths of finesse that may be necessary to satisfy you and that the test which we now ask for is only a preliminary one to note engine 'characteristics' and requirements.
