Rm {William Robotham - Chief Engineer} /Clm. {D. D. Clapham} 5/ET. 14th March, 1941. The Tempered Spring Co., Ltd., Burton Weir Works, SHEFFIELD 4. Dear Sirs, We enclose herewith a blue print of three proposed suspension springs, of which we are anxious to obtain samples. As you were very kindly able to oblige us in the matter of the suspension springs RG. {Mr Rowledge} 2052, we hope that you will be able to oblige us again. We are particularly interested in the two light springsRF.871 and RF.872 and should be much obliged if you could let us know the nearest wire size which you have available. The finish to be the same as the springs RG. {Mr Rowledge} 2052 which you have recently supplied to us, except that both ends will be ground square. Yours faithfully, | ||
