Messrs. Toledo Woodhead Springs Ltd.,
Toledo Steel Works,
SHEFFIELD 1.

Your ref. HS {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} /OW.

Dear Sirs,

We thank you for your letter of the 23rd instant, and have pleasure in giving the further details required.

The inside diameter of the spring eye should be .875" + .010".

The clips should be as the 56" springs you have made for us, which also have nine leaves. That is to say they should be at the ends of the same leaves. We should like fine interleaves per spring, of Spauldite if you have any, but your own material will do.

Thanking you for this co-operation in this matter,

We remain,
Yours faithfully,
