Contd. -2- EFC {E. Fowler Clarke - Electrical Engineer} 4/T21.1.26. (4) It appears that on the distributor, the distributor finger is invariably too high in relation to the distributor points and has to be bent down from its natural plane in order to clear the shoulders of the fixed sparking points of the distributor. This point has been mentioned to you before and you have pointed out that it is O.K. on the drawing, but apparently it does not result in an O.K. job, and it would be much better if the relation between the distributor and the finger and the sparking points could be altered to allow the finger to be central on those portions of the sparking points which are intended to correspond to it.
