Replying to Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}3/E5.11.35.

We see no reason to alter the decision which was taken to introduce the big bore Bentley as soon as possible.

The report at the end of 10,000 miles is, if anything, better than any of the previous 10,000 miles tests. The outstanding improvement is of course on the coachwork, and we do hope that this result with the steel body will be taken advantage of as soon as possible.

For your information we attach herewith copy of the report on the coachwork of 5-B-1V after running 15,000 miles in France in June, and also report on the body work of B.56.BN{W.O. Bentley / Mr Barrington} after 10,000 miles.
