Personnel present :- HPS. {Horace Percy Smith - Experimental Factory Mgr} By {R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} / NS. {Norman Scott} FS. {F. Steele} LK. {L. King} RJ. AG. FN. 9.B.V Chassis - 15,000 Miles Trials. This chassis is to be brought up to the specification as for the first Production B.V's, as issued in HPS {Horace Percy Smith - Experimental Factory Mgr} /WSC. {W. S. Cassel} 1/BA.16.1.39. LK. {L. King} reported that forgings of torque arms, upper and lower triangle levers, rear shock damper levers, etc. were controlling the completion of the details for this chassis. Promises for delivery were requested for the next meeting. 10.B.V Chassis. The radiator and bonnet was stated to be still outstanding to complete this chassis to enable same to be despatched to the coachbuilders. By {R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} / NS. {Norman Scott} stated that he was urging the completion of the bonnet rest angles and hoped to clear before the week-end. FS. {F. Steele} was instructed to get in touch with Gry. {Shadwell Grylls} re delivery of the radiator. It must not be overlooked that this chassis is fitted with temporary steering column, rear axle, front suspension, etc. We are to see that the correct details are available for fitment when the car is returned from the coachbuilders. 14.B.V Chassis (Continental). To be despatched to the coachbuilders by Friday, Feb. 20th. continued. | ||
