14.B.V. Chassis (Continental) contd.

FS.{F. Steele} reported that this chassis was progressing satisfactorily.

We are still awaiting details for the following :-

(a) Armstrong Rear Shock Dampers.

By/NS.{Norman Scott} stated that the design was in hand - details would be urged.
HPS.{Horace Percy Smith - Experimental Factory Mgr} stated that By.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} promised Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} that all details for continental chassis would be cleared by 21.1.39, - this means that we are two weeks behind schedule now.

(b) Petrol Tank, PD.359.

Up to date we have received detail drawings for the body only. - By/NS.{Norman Scott} stated that this would be clear by the week-end.

(c) Front & Rear Brakes, Hubs, etc.

By/NS.{Norman Scott} stated that this would be completed by 1.2.39.

(d) Radiator.

FS.{F. Steele} was requested to see Cry. re delivery.

(e) Rear Axle.

By/NS.{Norman Scott} promised completion of all details by the week-end.

(f) Steering Column.

FS.{F. Steele} was requested to look into the position of this.
