With reference to the failure of the
axle tubes on the above car, which you referred to
in your telephone conversation today, it is
unnecessary for you to return the old tubes to us
as we have since explained to Gry.{Shadwell Grylls} that this was
not the original axle fitted to the car but was
a service axle of rather uncertain origin.
