1245 W/P. Sr/VA. from Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Les.{Ivan A. Leslie} Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Les2/R.22.3.38. B.II FRONT BUMPER BARS. I notice from your owner's complaint report P.67, that you have some trouble from bumper bar springs breaking. The enclosed drawing shows a bumper which is just going on to production. We have changed the material of the spring plates and added a support plate beneath the U clip attachments. We think this should overcome your troubles. If you are unable to get deliveries of the new bumper immediately, we shall be pleased to supply two brand new bumpers of this type if you require them.
