[Typed main body]: 6.B.IV.- BENTLEY. Front Wing Stay Bolts. We are sending you under seperate cover three broken FB.2931 studs, for your examination. Will you please send a complete new set of 8 studs. We regard the inaccessibility of the nuts on the inner end, which secure the headlamp crossmember, as a very bad feature both for routine examination and for fitting new studs if required. This means partly removing the mudguard, also the headlamp pillar which is almost always extremely tight on its taper. The chance of these nuts ever getting checked or tightened in service is nil. -------------- Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/IMW.{Ivan M.
