We are anxious not to spend money in doing this in a non-essential way. In regard to the modifications that you decide to do, will you please let us know when you would like to have any of the above cars and how many you can deal with at any one time. In a memo. received from St.{Capt. P. R. Strong} this morning, I notice that with regard to Rippon's Trials Car EP.{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer} had already arranged with Rippons to send it to W. so that certain modernisations could be effected.
