Re: Bentley chassis No. B-35-AE - Hall.

With reference to the 22 gallon petrol tank instructed as per YS.14682, kindly note this should have a sealed filler.

Sales Dept. hope the tank will be available in the near future as otherwise it may delay completion of the car, which will disappoint Mr. Hall who claims to have asked for this special tank when at the Works some time ago.

With regard to the rear axle, Sales Dept. would like to know what 'Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}' thinks about this customer having axle ratio 11/43 as they understand 'Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}' knows the customer and that the question of performance was discussed at this end and that 'Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}' - or whoever saw Mr. Hall - will have formed some idea of the sort of performance that is expected. At the same time they do not want to go to the expense of changing the axle in London unless this is unavoidable.

D/BP.
