R.R. 15B B (380 H) S.D. 442. 9-8-17) G.{Mr Griffiths - Chief Accountant / Mr Gnapp} 1966 X. 782 Extract from EH1/AT15.6.17. The following parts were fitted to 7 C.A. deliveredto Mr. Royce. X.2650. 20. Rear Springs, standard type, brackets made so that they can be put under or over the axle. Note. These springs are the same as on the car last year, they are in the same condition i.e. well greased. X.762 21. Truffault shock absorbers on back. These shock absorbers are excellent. I have never appreciated how much difference shock absorbers could make until we connected these up. To get a comparison one must run with them disconnected. X.2238 23. Electrical speed indicator. Fixing this one on the engine has shown up on the Elliott speedometer on this car as reading very much too high. The mileage recorder is correct. We have checked the electrical speedometer with the engine at normal temperature by a counter, it is reading within 1%. The Elliott speedometer on this car is the same as was on last year. | ||
