MYTH ENGINE.

P.I.2114 - FABROIL TIMING GEAR.

Reason for the scheme.
The Aluminium half speed timing gear on Myth is extremely noisy when it rattles. We want to try one in fabric material.

Description.
The Fabroil gear consist of a circular blank bolted to a hub with 8 bolts, the pressure of the nuts being taken on a disc to prevent crushing. It would be advisable to cut the helical gear teeth after fixing the hub in order to get concentricity and squareness.

FABRIC.
The material used on Wraith was ATTWATER No.3108 FINE

INSTRUCTION.
Will Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/HH please detail the 3 parts and order one set for Experimental running.
